Park Wedding
One of the most natural and pleasant locations to have an outdoor wedding ceremony is in one of the many Italian parks – thus you can have a Park Wedding ceremony in Italy. Parks were places of refuge from the crowds for the Italian Aristocrats.
The nobility in Italy, as in the rest of Europe, would often assign the design of their parks to well known architects who would spend several years designing, modifying and then finally building the Italian Gardens that you find inside the Italian parks of today.
The really larger parks were made by very wealthy prelates in the church or others related to them and only specimen trees would be planted.
One fine example of this kind of park is the Stone Pine forest in Fregene planted by order of Cardinale Giulio Rospigliosi in 1666 or the very elaborate Reggia di Caserta.
