Gondola Wedding

One of the few, and maybe only place, in the world where you can still have a real gondola wedding is on one of the famous canals of the city of Venice.

The magic of Venice is that wherever you go it’s always through water on a canal or on an ancient street that was there five hundred years before. Nothing is really new there and nothing exists that wasn’t there during the Renaissance.

Gondola Weddings are symbolic wedding ceremonies that take place on a Venetian Gondola. Venetian gondolas are very expensive and only specialized local Italian artisans know how to make them today. When they die there may not be anyone to make them anymore.

The wedding celebrant will be in the gondola with you along with the gondolier. A bottle of champagne is usually opened after the ceremony.

The wedding photographer will usually be part of the time depending on how you set it up.
