Chapel Wedding

There are several wedding locations in Italy that offer a place for you to have your own private chapel wedding.

Many Italian Aristocrats that lived in the 17th,18th and 19th centuries and that owned substantial real estate or land often kept their own private Chapel where they could hear Mass privately and on a regular basis without having to go to the main church service in the nearby town.

Sometimes the only church where the Catholic Mass could be heard was the small chapel owned by the family, because the noble family owned the entire town.

Chapel weddings in Italy are not the norm for Italians but for small parties of foreigners that want a private intimate ceremony for a limited number of close friends and family.
