Wedding Coordinator

One of the key individuals to every wedding is the wedding coordinator.

The wedding coordinator can be the same person as the wedding planner or someone completely different. Generally speaking the coordinator lives very close to or in the same town as where the destination wedding will be taking place. Some actually live at the wedding site itself.

The coordinator will be present the day of the wedding not so much to take care of any wedding problems should they take place, but to let all the service providers and people working at the wedding venue know that there is one person who does nothing all day except to watch like a hawk every single activity that is going on.

Sometimes the owners of the venues will come up the wedding coordinator and ask them if everything is coming along okay.

In any case there is usually no need for the coordinator to do anything the day of the wedding except that the couple getting married may have some last minute requests or questions and the coordinator can answer everything as well as act as a liaison with the different service providers.

Coordinators carry the weight of the responsibility for every event we organize since they are onsite on the wedding day.
