If you will be getting married abroad in Italy the next natural question that will come up is whether you should also plan honeymoon for Italy or somewhere else in Europe or both.

• Plan your honeymoon around some activities and not just for sightseeing and touring.
• You can already visit all the local attractions in the area where are getting married.
• Anyone of the regions of Italy is by itself worthy enough to plan a honeymoon vacation.
• You can both visit and see everything in the area where your wedding is taking place as well as plan a honeymoon trip to any of the areas mentioned below since Italy is adjacent to all of these different European countries.
• France, Monaco, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Serbia, San Marino and the Vatican are already within a very short car drive.
• England, Scotland, Ireland, Spain, the rest of Western and Eastern Europe and are within a little over an hour flying time.
• Many parts of Africa and the Near East are only a few hours away if you take a commercial airplane.
• Inter-Europe travel is relatively cheap especially the air fares.
• Ask your wedding planner for suggestions. You will be surprised with what kind of honeymoon plans they may come up with.
