Autumn Weddings

Although it is a great time of the year to get married and you should be able to ask for a substantial discount from some of the wedding venues and service providers, Autumn Weddings in Italy are not that common.

Besides the change in colors that is taking place in all the country sides the weather is much cooler than it was in July and August. It was during August that the barbarians that invaded Rome left Rome because they could not stand the heat and the Italians have a long tradition of going off on holidays for the entire month of August and sometimes parts of July and September.

A wedding in autumn in Italy is therefore perfect. Everyone has returned rested from their holiday season and there is no longer the summer rush that squeezes people and events one after another in the different wedding places.
