Wedding Reservations

In order for you to be married in Italy the wedding reservations need to be made as soon as possible.

Your wedding date and the reservations made for that day are all related to the venues and service providers and their availability. The vendors and their managers will all want your business of course, but they make their commitments also to others on the basis of the dates they have open on their calendar.

The most popular and often the most qualified providers are the first to be reserved by other couples.

For this reason we recommend that a couple make their reservations as soon as possible – sometimes a year and a half ahead of time because during certain periods of time of the year, such as the months of May, June, July and September, one year may not be enough lead time to assure the availability of your preferred location.
Once you have a wedding reservation you can of course change the date, providing the alternative wedding date is available, but if you have no reservations at all then you cannot be assured of a wedding in Italy.

Another consideration is that it takes often from one to three months just to determine what services you will be selecting for your wedding and to find the corresponding vendor to fulfill those requirements.

Often there are delays of one week before a vendor or venue confirms availability after they have received notice from the wedding planner that someone wants to hire them. This is not necessarily due to lack of being prompt, but to several other requests that may have come in at the same time and the vendor is attempting to juggle their schedule around to be able to accommodate several different couples at the same time.
