Planning Overseas Wedding
When you are set on planning overseas wedding there is the possibility that not all of your family or your relatives will be able to attend the destination wedding.
We like to encourage all couples to make sure that at least both sets of parents can make it to the wedding taking place abroad. To not have your parents attending the wedding would be a loss for everyone.
Also consider the other close relatives and friends that you may have: You want everyone to share in your joy the day you get hitched no matter where that will be taking place!
Before you plan an overseas destination wedding, here are some other considerations that you may want to think about.
Budget your time as well as your money and work with a wedding planner that you are totally comfortable with. One way to determine which wedding company you should hire is to check to see if you receive direct answers to your questions and how long it takes to get a reply and the correctness of the information given to you.
Make sure the wedding planner you are thinking of hiring sends you the testimonials of the couples they previously worked with during the last year and call at least three of them up. A few phone calls or emails from former clients will provide all the information you need and give you confidence to move ahead.
When planning overseas weddings it is best to ask what the cancellation fees are and if you can add or remove a wedding guests from the list of those coming to the reception. Also ask how late you make any of these changes.
To plan an overseas wedding that will be successful you must think like a good chess player – plan several moves ahead!
