When there are so many options for places where to get married abroad it is hard to decide what the best European wedding location is, especially if the information is incomplete or disorganized.

One of the things that we first discovered while locating the different foreign wedding venues was that the information that had been posted on the Internet by others was often incomplete and inaccurate. For this and other reasons we have often called or emailed venues to find out more specifically what they have to offer and to confirm the accuracy of the details that they had available. Although we are by no means perfect in any selection process the accuracy of the information we have online is greater than the venues themselves!

One of the considerations you should make while you plan to marry abroad is to confirm that your wedding planner is living in the same area of Italy of where your wedding will be taking place. This is an important wedding detail, because the local service providers will respect one of their own “people” much more than a “foreigner” from another area. In some parts of Italy the dialect is so distinct from all the others that only the locals can understand it. Yes, we know, Italians have their prejudices too!

So when you select the wedding destination you like most make sure the Italian wedding planner you work with is living there too or that they have met and worked before with the intended wedding venues while coordinating weddings for other clients.
