Surrounded by the Lucchese hills yet just 10 minutes from the walled city of Lucca, Linden Borgo was created in the 1700’s by Count Cosimo Bernardini as a hunting lodge retreat. The 12 individually styled bedrooms are a gracious combination of warm colours, terracotta floors and wood beamed ceilings. Reception rooms include a wine library, a card and billiard room, a music room with fireplace, a grand banquet room and several comfortable sitting rooms as well as a gym.

The entrance with a parking lot, formal dining room, drawing room with fireplace and satellite TV with dual capacity video, office with telephone, internet access, central music system and security/surveillance system. Fully equipped kitchen, music room with piano, fireplace, card and billiard room, wine library with a private collection of Tuscan/Italian wines and two guest bathrooms.

Four bedrooms are integrated around the original 17th century fountains, overlooking the splendid Italian park: a large king or twin bedded room with en-suite bathroom with Jacuzzi bath; a queen bedded room with frescoed en-suite bathroom; a king or twin room with trellised frescos and an en suite bathroom, a queen bedded room with en-suite bathroom with Jacuzzi bath.

The oldest part of the property, dating back to the year 1,000 and once a wild boar hunting lodge, houses five bedrooms overlooking the courtyard. A queen bedded room encircled with windows and comprising a lounge area and a frescoed en-suite bathroom with Jacuzzi bath; a queen or twin bedded room with en-suite bathroom; two queen bedded rooms each with frescoed en suite bathrooms; a queen bedded room with en-suite bathroom with Jacuzzi bath and views across the 17th century fountains towards Lucca.

The original stone chapel of the Bernardini estate, overlooking the swimming pool to one side and a courtyard filled with terracotta pots and lemon trees to the other, now accommodates a warm double bedroom with large en-suite bathroom with Jacuzzi bath and separate box shower; a double bedded room with ensuite bathroom; a queen or twin bedded room with en-suite bathroom and double doors leading out onto a small sun terrace.
