Art Déco Villa

Venue in Stresa

In the millenarian village of Stresa, overlooking the splendid Borromeo Gulf, shines a small jewel, this Art Déco Villa. It was the Admiral of the Italian Navy Francesco Capece who bought this villa on his retirement from the Royal Navy in July of 1918. In those times it was a wonderful private residence with only seven rooms and a bathroom; a splendid paradise overlooking the Borromeo Gulf.

Art Deco Villa

In 2000 the owner’s family restored the villa to its original splendor with a fairy-tale feeling. After having conducted accurate historical research, the remodeling was done with elegance and taste, offering high standards and technology at the same time. Reinterpreting the concept of the family villa at the turn of the century with the care of each detail, the villa has been embellished with antique furniture, stuccos, chandeliers, precious wall papers, arabesques and oriental arches in homage to the historical relationship with the Venetian Republic, the “The Doorway to the Orient”.

This Art Déco villa is now a five-star luxurious hotel, immersed in flowering azaleas and delicate scents, with the conception of style and hospitality that is typically Italian, reflecting the refined delicacy for art and taste. The new halls open to the evocative Italian-style patio, suggesting the feeling of diffused elegance in a conceptual and balanced setting.

Floors decorated in a Venetian style, marble columns, aubusson tapestries and walls decorated with precious fabrics envelope the rooms with soft light and iridescent reflections, well represented in all 54 Deluxe Rooms, 5 Junior Suites, 8 Suites. The direct access from the external entrance to the Halls makes this an ideal place for hosting important events and auto shows with style.

Framed by the charming atmosphere of Lake Maggiore, this Art Déco Villa is the ideal location to celebrate your special and unforgettable day immerse into an exclusive elegance.
