Wedding in Positano

I don't know where to begin... this was a once in a lifetime experience! Italian Destination Weddings made our Wedding Day THE MOST INSANELY ROMANTIC EVENT THE WORLD WILL EVER SEE!!! 

This experience could NOT be beat!  I don't care where you name here in the Tri-State NY area, and I have been to weddings at the finest locations here... NYC, East Hampton, Greenwich CT, you name it....there is NOTHING like your own personal Wedding experience in POSITANO, ITALY!!! Call me directly if you need to!! If I had to do it again, I would not hesitate to email Stefania (or any of the other wonderful associates who helped along the way).

We were at first, most concerned with using an internet based type of wedding planner service for a wedding in another country. Naturally, anyone would feel apprehensive, so we checked it out through the Better Business Bureau and were quickly put at ease. We then were unsure about sending money to a service through the internet. PAYPAL!!! No problem....  Next, we were concerned that our wishes, the details that would make it special for us, could NOT be achieved in another country especially going alone, with no one to rely on but our wedding planner.... we essentially eloped... no family members!!! :-) EVERY DETAIL WAS MET TO PERFECTION!!! ....and then some!!! Don't forget, youre going to Italy.... everyone is sooooo sweet!

The paperwork??? Well worth the effort needed!!!! Stefania helped us out every step of the way!!! and BEST OF ALL were the associates that were to meet us for the first time and come through for us BIGTIME in tight timeframes... with a smile !!!

Stefania, I cannot say enough kind words about Bruno, Giovanna, Mauricio and Eleni's Hair & Makeup people.... THE BEST!!! ALL OF THEM!!  Even the owners of the Eden Roc... for one week... Eleni and I were family!!!  Without question, I recommend this Hotel to EVERYONE!!  The owners, management, staff, waiters, waitresses, car service ... everybody made us part of the family!! When we arrived in Positano from NY, Eleni was worried about the toll of travel on her dress... in a heartbeat, upon check-in, the son of the owner said " let me call my mother, she can make sure it is not damaged and primp & prop the dress for you" .... Within four hours, the dress was back in our room, hanging beautifully!!

Civil Wedding Positano

We loved our trip to Italy. We had such a good time. Your itinerary was very comprehensive and detailed. Luckily, our flights were on time and we were able to get to our hotel in Naples rather easily. To begin with, our very first morning in Italy, we met our contact, Mr. Bruno, at the US Consulate. He was very nice guy. Extremely pleasant and he knew exactly what to. The paperwork was completed rather quickly and then we drove to our first stop in Ravello.

Since I had been to Amalfi, Positano, and Capri once before, I knew the scenery would be just perfect. It was so beautiful! Just as I remembered it. On our wedding day, we were blessed with wonderful sunny weather in Positano. Promptly at 2pm on Friday, the 30th, Giovanna called from the hotel lobby to start the festivities. She's a great lady. She had the wedding bouquet waiting for me when I came downstairs. The florist did an outstanding job. The red roses were gorgeous. The bouquet was better than I had expected. Our photographer was also waiting for us. We took some photos in the hotel and then out by the Spiaggia Grande. Everyone was so nice as they congratulated us as we walked up the stairs to the car. The car was great - a 1967 Mercedes limousine.

The ceremony at the Wedding hall was fun. The view of Positano is fantastic. Giovanna had everything under control as she translated the ceremony into English. We appreciate all her help. She was very gracious. Mauro took many more photos on the terrace at the Wedding Hall. We eagerly look forward to seeing them! We took just a few snapshots with our camera, which came out beautifully. I am sure Mauro's will be even better.

After the ceremony, we went back to our hotel and enjoyed some champagne until dinner. We had dinner at La Cambusa. They were very nice and the dinner was good. We had a good dinner and enjoyed a night of dancing at Le Terazze afterwards.

The rest of our trip was fantastic. Sorrento and Capri was a blast. We certainly would have not been able to tackle all the paperwork without your help. The coordination and Italian translation by Bruno and Giovanna was extremely helpful. I would recommend your service to other couple interested in getting married in your wonderful country. Positano Wedding and Honeymoon in Italy

We are back after a long flight and missing Italy already. Seems like a wonderful dream! You did a fantastic job for us We talked about you often as we followed your itinerary and recommendations. Every hotel was excellent! Thank you for the flowers in Ravello. They treated us like a King and Queen at the Palazzo Sasso - we were upgraded to an ocean view from the first night!

The wedding coordinator and the photographers were excellent!! The wedding day could not have been more perfect or gone more smoothly! Bravo!!

The Villa Maria did a great job with the reception!! The food was some of the best we had in Italy and the room was set up beautifully. They showed us a villa next door that they are converting for events such as weddings. I would recommend this place to anyone interested in have a reception in Ravello. This would allow people to have music and dancing afterwards with a spectacular view! We are thinking of a way to come back and have a party there. (We got a little too noisy for the Palazzo Sasso after the wedding--but we had some fun nights at the piano bar).

Capri was spectacular and the hotel comfortable. We want to go back in a couple of years and rent a villa for 3-4 couples. We had a memorable evening at a new restaurant called the Villa Verde. Outdoors, fun staff, great food.

The hotel in Rome was very nice (new) and convenient. We liked being a little out of the center of the tourist hot spot. The restaurant in Florence was fantastic!! The manager and staff exceptionally warm and we had a great evening.

The Villa Scacciapensieri had a large suite for us and we were very comfortable there. The chauffeur guide put together an excellent day and we felt like we were being introduced to Tuscany by a close friend or relative. It was an authentic, non-tourist oriented experience and one we would highly recommend.

Castello de Spaltenna - our favorite hotel of the trip! What great atmosphere! Our room was one of their best, right next to the church. They have a great little bar in a wine cellar. We enjoyed every moment in this ancient place.

We really preferred Florence over Rome. Our hotel was excellent - lots of room, very luxurious and perfect location. Our guide was very good although maybe a little too academic for our background of knowledge on the Renaissance. A great education in 8 hrs even if overwhelming! We loved the combination of the people, the shopping, and the food! And thank you for the quick response after calling you on a Saturday at home! The fax was waiting for us at our hotel when we checked in and we did get in to see the David at the Accademia. Thank you!

It was over too fast ........ But what an experience!! As we say in the US., you and your staff really 'came through' for us! All our guests were so impressed with how well everything was planned. And we enjoyed every location you selected for us. I think I would choose to have fewer transfers and longer stays in fewer places next time, but we needed this overview to decide on our favorite spots!! But it's hard to imagine changing or eliminating anything at this point. We will face that challenge before our next trip.

Positano Civil Wedding

We arrived home from the trip on June 22nd.  We had such a wonderful time.  And everything with the wedding was better than we could have imagined and exactly what we had hoped for.   We think Italy is a wonderful place and hope we make it back to visit often.  Positano was our favorite, we definitely picked the perfect city for the marriage ceremony!  Not only is Postitano the most romantic and beautiful city, but the people there are very friendly and the atmosphere was very relaxed.  If I could have changed anything about the entire trip...I would have stayed an extra night in each city (even if I had to cut one of the cities out of the trip).  Three nights wasn't quite enough. As you suggested, we had dinner at Ristorante Le Terrazze dell'Incanto on our wedding night and it was just magnificent.  We ate at the other recommended restaurants also and they were good as well.   But, it seems that everywhere we ate in Positano was just wonderful.

Everything with the wedding and your coordination really made things easy for us.   The Itinerary was so complete that we were very clear on what to expect once we got to Italy.   The woman who met us in Naples (I can't remember her name) was just so pleasant and helpful.   And Giovanna was just a blessing on our wedding day!  The flowers were absolutely gorgeous!  The photographer was also overly helpful!  I just can't wait to see the pictures.   I would really like to send Giovanna a personal thank you note...

Positano Wedding

Cathy and I have just returned from our wedding/honeymoon. Everything went perfectly, we had an amazing day and everything went smoothly. Cathy and I would like to thank you for everything you did to make sure our wedding was just as we dreamt it would be. 

The hairdresser did an outstanding job with Cathy's hair, and Giovanna and Massimo (co-ordinator and photographer) were really outstanding, and Cathy loved the bouquet! Giovanna and Massimo especially helped to make the day very special, we can't wait to see all our photos! We were able to briefly see proofs in Massimo's office and they looked great, and I simply can't wait to see the prints!!!

We absolutely loved Italy, especially Positano and the Amalfi Coast, it was the perfect setting for our wedding and a place we plan to return to again and again....

Anyway, I simply can't say enough about how grateful we are to you for organizing this for us. Your kindness and cheerfulness was always appreciated and won't be forgotten. Please feel free to use us as references for others who want to get married in Italy. We'd be more than happy to
