Symbolic Wedding in Lake Como

We are back now! Cory and I arrived back in the states on Saturday, June 9th.

The wedding was absolutely beautiful! I could not have been any more wonderful and perfect. The weather cooperated at the last moment (originally it was going to be too hot - if you can believe that, for an outdoor wedding!!!).

Mr. Antonio Calzolaro from the Villa Serbelloni was a joy to work with. He was very kind and accommodating to both Cory and I. We really appreciated all his efforts and coordination with helping to arrange for the wedding on lake Como.

The Villa Serbelloni was a perfect setting for a fairy-tale wedding. The grounds were absolutely beautiful, making a wonderful backdrop for the wedding. The dinner at the Villa was superb. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal which was prepared and presented beautifully.

Your suggestion of the boat ride in between the ceremony and the aperitif was the best suggestion and almost the highlight of the entire celebration. Everyone is still talking about what a great idea that was to take a boat ride. It was so romantic and a perfect transition activity between the ceremony and the 'reception/dinner'. Thank you so much for the great idea!

The photographer was very fun to work with. He had some great ideas and beautiful shots.

The ceremony went very quickly. The officiate was just fine and did a very good job. He was very much to the point and didn't elaborate much. The wedding coordinator (I can not remember her name) was such a little cutie. She was very good and everyone loved her.

Lake Como Civil Wedding

How are you? We are both good and settling in to married life. It all seems a bit quite after all the organization and planning for the wedding!

Just a quick note to let you know how much we loved our wedding day on Lake Como. Thank you so much for all your help and organization in making the day run so smoothly. It truly surpassed al our hopes and dreams and will stay with us as such a precious memory forever.

Also will you please send our great thanks to Rita who was very kind, joyous and professional. She really helped to put Torquil and I at ease and was a wonderful addition to the ceremony.
