Protestant Wedding in Florence at St. James Church
The wedding was AWESOME!!!!!! Honestly, it exceeded all of our expectations. We were just amazed at how perfect everything was.
REHEARSAL DINNER - We were a bit concerned when the bus driver showed up and told us that the drive was not 45 mins but closer to 1hr and 40 mins. We had not wanted to have people on a bus that long - but the drive turned out to be absolutely beautiful. I think that everyone enjoyed the time to catch up and chat.
The wine tasting was fantastic - the place was beautiful and the wines were wonderful. The staff there was very helpful and very welcoming. I think that they were a bit short staffed for the dinner (only two servers) but it gave us time to give lots of toasts and enjoy ourselves. The food was great and the setting was perfect. It was very dark going out to the busses at the end of the meal - actually one of our guests fell on the way - they need to put some lights out there - but again, we had consumed quite a bit of wine!
WEDDING - We were nervous after the rehearsal dinner that the wedding reception would not compare.....since the night before was so perfect. But you did not let us down! The car was on time and fine. The church was great - Father Casparian is the best. He was great. But Emma, the Villa was amazing. George and I both were just speechless when we walked up to the back of the Villa - the day was a perfect sunny day which helped - but the view was wonderful and the garden was beautiful - the service at the villa was wonderful and the food was the best we had while in Italy. The wine also was wonderful - can you send me the names of both the white and the red served with dinner - I need to find some of it here in the US. The flowers were absolutely perfect - they were better than I ever could have imagined. My hair was fine - they were very nice and did a good job. The photographer was great - we can't wait to see his work. He stayed until after the cake which was perfect.
The DJs were really good! They played the perfect mix of music and had all of the songs that we requested that night. - They really made it a party. Honestly, I can say it was beyond our dreams......we of course would be a reference anytime. I could go on and on - we just had the best time.
Oh and the hotel was perfect - you should recommend that to others - for the price - it was well worth it.
We can not thank you enough...it was the best night of our lives!

We enjoyed every aspect of our wedding.Yes the flowers were beautiful and the Helvetia Bristol was wonderful and provided beautiful accommodations and excellent service.It is a small hotel,as I am sure you know,and they made us feel very much at home.
Veronica did a teriffic job.She was very knowledgeable and guided us right through all the paperwork with ease.In addition she is a lovely person with an outgoing and friendly personality and offered us many insights into your beautiful city and life in Italy.We both enjoyed her very much.
The church service and Fr.Casparian could not have been better.We only had a small wedding and it was in the chapel at St.Peters.We made friends with the Casparians and enjoyed their and their daughters company at a post wedding lunch .We also attended fr.Casparians Christmas Eve service.The civil service was quite impressive.We appreciated the beauty of the sala rosa and the formality with which the city official conducted the service.
We are anxious to see our wedding photos.We enjoyed working with Mr.Mariani and think he was very professional and creative in how he organized his photographs.We spent the morning after the wedding taking photos around the city and ,while we could not communicate with mr Mariani, we think we got along quite well and each of us seemed to understand what the other wanted.He is a very nice man and seems anxious to please and do a good job.Can you let us know when to expect our photographs and if you are sending the negatives.
Thank you for all your help and assistance.Without Euroservices help ,we would have been unable to accomplish all the paperwork and legalities involved.I believe that there is a document which is to be sent to us for recording in the USA.Could you let us know about that? I am sorry we never got to meet you personally,but want want you to know it was a pleasure working with you.

Florence Protestant Wedding at St. James
Well we are back. We spent three weeks in Italy and loved every minute of it. Now with regard to the wedding - it was absolutely perfect. The wedding coordinator was brilliant and very helpful. The photographer was so pleasant and while we haven't seen the pictures we are sure they will be outstanding.
Father Peter was a delight. The reception at the Villa Cora was so nice. They made every effort to make the evening a perfect ending to our special day.
You're the one that made this whole event happen and without you it wouldn't have come off nearly so well. We would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all the hard work that went in behind the scenes that I'm sure we don't even know about. Thank you so much.

We are extremely grateful for your expertise in planning our wedding in Florence!
Every detail, from the flowers to the weather, was absolutely perfect. We never imagined that our wedding day would actually be that perfect. Our family and friends were equally pleased and impressed with how beautiful everything turned out.
Our assistant, Mr. Julian Pio. was very courteous and helpful. We enjoyed having him present. The flowers, especially my bouquet, were gorgeous and arrived to each location earlier than expected. The photographer, videographer and chauffer for the van also arrived at their scheduled times.
Rev. Peter Casparian was also great! During our meeting with him the day before the wedding, he truly took interest in getting to know us as a couple and listened to our expectations of the religious ceremony. We felt as though we were regular parishioners at St. James. After the ceremony, Rev. Casparian invited us to the church garden for a champagne toast and gave us some time to take more pictures with our guests. We also participated in a tradition of trying to get the champagne cork to land in the fountain for good luck. Guess what? Jonathan popped the champagne cork into the fountain without spilling a drop of champagne!
After our time at the church garden- we went to the center of Florence to take some more pictures. We were so surprised at the warm welcome we received from the tourists and locals alike -everyone was congratulating us and taking our picture! We truly felt like Hollywood movie stars that day!
Once we were done taking our pictures in the center, we headed to the restaurant for a spectacular vìew! Ristorante La Loggia was truly special, not just for the wonderful view, but for its food too. Although we were all full by the time our main course was being served, everyone finished the pineapple dessert because it was so delicious and refreshing! The service we received was impeccable and we highly recommend this restaurant for any special occasion.
Our wedding cake was also delicious! Again, it was delicious and light enough to eat after our big meal.
We look forward to getting our pictures and watching our video soon. Also. we can't wait for our 5-year wedding anniversary so we can return to Florence and do it all over again! One taxi driver was joking with us and said we should come back to baptize our children (not a bad idea !).
Thank you again for all of your help in planning our wedding and making it truly special and unique.
