Italians Residings Abroad

English version:

Italian citizens living abroad have to contact the closer Italian Consulate to get married in Italy.

They have to ask for posting the banns in Italy to get the Nulla Osta.

Once they have the Nulla Osta we have to receive a copy of it along with the Birth Certificate and passport.

Italian Version:

La persona di cittadinanza italiana residente all’estero che vuole sposare ad es. un americano in Italia deve contattare il Consolato Italiano del suo paese e richiedere le pubblicazioni in Italia, nel comune dove è nata ( o dove lei risulterebbe residente ). Il comune fa le pubblicazioni e poi le rilascia il Nulla Osta.

Il comune italiano dove si sposerà vuole vedere il passaporto, il certificato di nascita e il Nulla Osta.

If residing in Italy banns will need to be posted in the town where the marriage takes place.
