Question: | I thought the travel industry was having a crisis because of International terrorism? |
Answer: | Last year was our most successful and profitable, even with the events that occurred. Although we are related to the travel industry, we are not affected by it. Destination weddings have grown every year since we began almost ten years ago. |

Question: | Can we hire people in other countries or friends to help us with the weddings and honeymoons we organize? |
Answer: | Yes. However, they will still be required to work under IDW’s guidelines and direction. |

Question: | What about vacations? |
Answer: | Vacations must be approved beforehand and planned carefully so that your work is not interrupted. It is easier to go on vacation if you are a supervisor because you can delegate many of your responsibilities. Coordinators may also go on vacation with the right planning. |

Question: | Do we have to follow a daily work schedule? |
Answer: | You set your own schedule. For most this turns out to be a full time job, requiring coordinators to be very focused and ready to answer emails every day. |

Answer: | Yes. Provided you have a reliable Internet connection and portable computer, answer emails promptly and handle all your responsibilities faithfully. |

Answer: | Not necessarily. If you live in or near the area where the wedding takes place, you will be encouraged to be the onsite coordinator for that event. |
