During your visit, stop by Gardone Riviera with its amazing estate belonging to Gabriele D'Annunzio; it is a complex of gardens and monuments surrounding a beautiful villa. In summer you can listen to concerts given in the amphitheater. Drive down towards Riva del Garda enjoying the pretty towns of Limone and the village of Tremosine which are easy to explore with a car. Stop for an espresso or gelato before continuing all around the lake; it can be visited in a couple days but is best savored over 3 or 4.
