Setting	Surrounding the castle is a well-kept and equipped terraced park (deck-chairs, chairs, tables etc..., table tennis and playground for children:chutes, seesaws) with very beautiful Italian style gardens which originate from the 18th C. with lemon trees and lovely shared swimming pool.
Interior	Original antiques, some dating from the 17th century and more. Authentic atmosphere.
Accommodations	Twenty eight apartments, all sharing the beautiful grounds, the courtyards, the gardens and the private swimming pool hidden below the walls framing the entrance. In addition to the castle there are several simple and rustic guest houses dependencies on the property behind the castle, and they have their own swimming pool.

The castle retains a medieval flavor with Renaissance touches which were added later on. It was built in The inner courtyard as you enter is dramatic and austere, while the large halls with huge windows, let in sunshine and allow you to enjoy some spectacular views. .You are surrounded by Chianti countryside. The landscape is quintessential Tuscany, with vineyards, olive-groves, rolling hills and rich countryside where you could enjoy relaxing strolls. Visit castles , villas or go on a wine tasting tour nearby. There is also the possibility to do some shopping in the area. Moreover it is located near Florence, offering the possibility of museum visits, lively markets and of course fantastic restaurants and shopping. Swimming, tennis, horseback riding excursions…These are some of the possible activities in the surrounding area.

The cellars of the castle are now a bar where you can buy special gifts and local farm products (such as wine, oil and grappa). Dinner is possible in the beautiful tavern of the castle.
