Location Conveniently located in the countryside just outside of Florence. Piazza del Duomo, the very heart of Florence, is a short 15 minutes drive away! Very close to the Chianti hills and the Valdarno area. Siena is 1 hour away.
Setting A green, peaceful park with age-old trees, a traditional Italian garden, the celebrated hills of Tuscany.
Activities Nearby Florence, the gem of the Renaissance, is waiting to be explored. Sightseeing and wine tours to the towns nestled in the Chianti hills, like Gaiole, Radda, Castellina and many others, are a must. Hot air balloon rides and helicopter excursions.
Exterior The style is typical of the Tuscan country houses, simple and grand at the same time. Dating from the 1400s, the Villa is perfectly restored and maintained.
Interior Authentic antique furniture, ornate chandeliers, frescoes along with terracotta floors and exposed beams create a unique ambiance.
Facilities Private chapel, heated outdoor swimming pool, gym, heliport, meeting room, restaurant and wine bar.
Accommodations 12 rooms (suites, junior suites and deluxe rooms) in the Villa. The rooms are adorned with eighteenth century frescoes, antiques and Murano chandeliers. Marble and Jacuzzis define the bathrooms luxury and comfort. 38 rooms (7 junior suites, 5 superior and 26 classic rooms) are housed in another large building on the grounds. Exposed beams ceilings and terracotta floors create an authentic Tuscan atmosphere. 2 apartments with 4 bedrooms each are found in a third building that used to be the house of the farmers working on the property. An ideal accommodation for families, with a truly Tuscan rural flavor
Receptions Only one wedding event a time in this venue, so that the staff can provide undivided attention to the couple! The customized reception can take place in the park, in the Italian garden, in the Villa’s halls; in the veranda overlooking the pool or in a large hall in the second building. You will be spoiled for choices!

Unique characteristics of this 5 Star Tuscan Resort

The Villa, the oldest structure of this exclusive Tuscan Resort, was built in the fifteenth century in a fertile area planted with fruit orchards and experimental gardens. Leonardo da Vinci was the first one to draw the maps of the territory.
Restored and modernized in the eighteenth century, it finally became an agricultural estate in the following century and more buildings were added on the grounds.
What is special about this venue is that you feel immersed in the peace of the Tuscan countryside, but yet Florence with its monuments, museums, works of art and wonderful shopping is at your doorsteps!
