Unique characteristics of this Ancient Church on Lake Garda
This church with its majestic twelfth century steeple and bell tower, rising from the center of a town where time has stopped, is nestled in a romantic setting offering privacy an beauty.
Located in a lovely lakeside paesino which is a veritable terrace overlooking Lake Garda, the building is perched high on a hill that overlooks the western shore of the lake. The views are incomparable, the setting authentic and completely non-touristy.
Surrounded by the Brescian Upper Garda Park, one of the great National Parks of Italy, the abundant flowering pastures create a havoc of color from spring to early autumn. The scenery is breathtaking, with an alpine flavor. Mount Baldo dominates the views, contrasting with the green valley and the deep blue waters of Lake Garda. Around the lake, the vegetation is Mediterranean, with Italian cypresses, lemon groves and olive trees.
Fish from the lake, salumi and specialty cheeses, like cheese with black truffles, can be enjoyed in the local restaurants, famous for their ancient cooking traditions.
