Can anyone offer a better wedding reception that this one? And how about the gourmet Italian food?

Wedding Menus in Italy

Depending on your wedding budget wedding menus in Italy can obviously vary considerably in price and sophistication. This is true more in terms of elegance and complexity, rather than in quality.

A sit down meal for an Italian wedding can be anywhere from € 50 Euro to € 500 Euro. A lot will depend on your selection of wines, aperitifs and champagne and the level of class of the wedding reception location hosting the meal.

Now an Italian menu for a wedding will never be the same as another in a different wedding location in Italy.

Each restaurant, chef, baker and sommelier must outdo all the others. Sitting down at an Italian wedding reception is like going to the Olympics – the food Olympics, and the local chef strives to win against an imaginary foe, because you certainly will never be able to compare their food to any other reception location in Italy – at least not for a long time.

Like with the Iron Chef TV series, cooking food is very competitive in Italy, only that the element of time is not as important, but the element of budget is.

To select the best and most appropriate menu for your wedding ask your planner for suggestions from the chef or owner of the restaurant. They will not be let down.
