Italy Car Rental Advice
Here is some Italy car rental advice:
The pick-up time for your rental car is the one shown on your paper voucher.
Should you run late, the car rental office will wait for you and keep your rented car available only for one more hour beyond the time indicated on the voucher; after that, the agency will consider the car available for other customers.
In an emergency or if you have a problem with your car rental, contact the rental office telephone number indicated on your voucher. If you are unsuccessful, contact the car rental office in the nearest city airport or ask the hotel concierge for help.
Many shops, offices and gas stations are closed on Sundays; therefore, if you need to fill up, we suggest you do it on weekdays or Saturdays. The major highways do have open gas stations on Sundays.
Self-service pumps do work at some stations, but the directions for using them may be only in Italian.
