An open bar can lead to dancing after the reception!

Open Bar at Wedding

No matter where you plan on getting married in Italy the term "open bar" or "American bar" means that the service provided after lunch or dinner will include serving hard liquor. The term also is used to state that the bar will be open and not that the drinks will be unlimited.

The amount of drinks served at Italian weddings is always predetermined by each vendor. An open bar at wedding in Italy has a limited amount of drinks that can be served and consumed. If you plane to have your guests drink as much as they want at the wedding Italy then you need to state so ahead of time to your wedding planner.

Throughout lunch or dinner different types of excellent wines, champagne and Prosecco together with mineral water are usually served to all the guests.

Your guests will have plenty to drink the day of the wedding and reception, since these drinks are served all the way through dinner.

Please let us know if you would also like for us to add an "open bar" before and during the wedding dinner so that your wedding planner can quote you the cost for each.
