Italian Wedding Certificate

All couples marrying civilly in Italy receive an international wedding certificate that will be valid in the country they are coming from. 

To register your wedding when you get back home you simply need to go to the local county registrar with your Italian wedding certificate and present it to the local civil authorities. 

Only a single wedding certificate is usually issued by the Italian authorities but additional ones can be requested as long as this is done beforehand. 

Additional wedding certificates are hard to obtain after you leave Italy. Please advise us beforehand how many copies you would like so we can make all the necessary arrangements for you.
